Beet juice has been shown to prevent Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS), as well as increasing athletic performance and decreasing blood pressure. Drinking some beet juice while you are traveling to high altitude as well as drinking some each morning of your ski vacation can help you to feel great so you ski at your best.
